Through our work, we support Assyrians as they struggle to maintain their rights to the lands they have inhabited for thousands of years, their ancient language, equal opportunities in education and employment, and to full participation in public life. In line with this mission, the Assyrian Policy Institute seeks to engage volunteers to:

 

• Work with our team to organize events, processes, and publications that promote the rights of Assyrians in their traditional homelands;

• Work with our team on the essential tasks that underpin all of our work, e.g. administration, fundraising, research; and

• Provide new perspectives and skills to our work.

Volunteers and the contributions they make to help advance the mission of the API are acknowledged and highly appreciated by the API Board of Directors. The API was built and has been sustained by volunteers like you.

 

Through our volunteer program, individuals will have the opportunity to increase their working experience, knowledge, and skills while helping advance the rights of Assyrians. Most volunteer opportunities can be completed remotely, and volunteers are always encouraged to pick and choose the opportunities that best meet their schedule, comfort level, and talents.
