Self-Care for Pro-Assyrian Activists and Advocates
Pro-Assyrian activism can often be stressful, demoralizing, and overwhelming. Self-care for activists is important as a way to remain present, connected, and committed. And remember: There is more to the Assyrian experience than surviving genocide. While it's important to understand the atrocities committed against Assyrians and the systemic barriers that have continued to oppress them, it is equally important to understand our rich history of resilience and innovation.
